Submission of Abstracts
The extended abstract submission will be online only at the following website during the period between September 1, 2007 and January 30, 2008:
www.IMLB2008.com

The extended abstract should explicitly mention objectives, new results and conclusions. Important references and figures should be given as well. For electronic submission the following information is required£º
Name and address
Title of your paper
Preferred presentation: Oral or poster
Extended Abstract in electronic form
The Extended abstract text may not be longer than 1 page DIN A4, min 2000 max. 4000 characters (including spaces)
Fill in these data on the internet submission form at the website.

Based on the availability and related topics, a limited number of oral presentations will be selected from those who prefer oral presentation by the scientific committee, and the rest of them will be allocated to the poster sessions.

After having submitted your extended abstract, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail with the following information£º
Reference number of your extended abstract (for correspondence and questions that    might arise)
Your personal user code and password

The user code and password are used in case you wish to access data already submitted or if you wish to submit additional extended abstracts. This will shorten the submission procedure. Corrections to abstracts can only be made up to the deadline of January 30, 2008

Authors will be notified of the acceptance and the type of presentation (oral or poster) in the last week of February 2008 by e-mail.

Extended Abstract Publications
The book of extended abstracts will be distributed at the beginning of the conference.

Submission of Manuscripts
The proceedings volume of the IMLB-14 meeting will be published in Journal of Power Sources as a special edition. The manuscript for the proceedings volume is due June 28 th, 2008. The regular peer review procedure of Journal of Power Source will be followed for this special edition.

In order to standardize the manuscript layout, we kindly ask you to read the guidelines carefully.

Excellent Posters Awards
As a tradition of IMLB, the poster sessions are very important part of the meeting. In order to encourage authors, especially the young scientists and students to participant the poster sessions, several posters (5-10) will be selected for excellent poster award.
